Welcome to Lincoln Elementary School, home of the Leopards! Our culturally diverse community of over 500 amazing scholars in Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade have the brightest smiles and a strong enthusiasm for learning! We model, demonstrate, and expect our scholars to show respect, be responsible, and give their best effort every day in order to prepare them for becoming collaborators and innovators in college and careers.
Our fundamental focus at Lincoln is to increase every scholar’s achievement through building relationships and providing rigorous and engaging experiences. Lincoln’s superstar teachers utilize the Common Core State Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards in combination with a collection of resources to plan meaningful lessons using a backward design model. Our newest resources include Collaborative Classroom (English Language Arts) and Origo (Mathematics). Complementing our core subject instruction and developing the creativity of our scholars are the fine arts opportunities which include daily Physical Education, Art, Music, and Library Media.
A strong home-school connection is essential to our success. Parents are role models and every child’s first teacher, and we believe that by working together, we can ensure your child’s social, emotional, and academic needs are met. Therefore, we encourage close parent-teacher partnerships in order to positively impact every scholar’s performance. Here’s how to get involved at Lincoln: Sign up for Class Dojo, stay informed by reading the Thursday Virtual Backpack online, attend parent-teacher conferences, join the PTA, attend PTA and school sponsored events, and volunteer!
