Introduction

Hello!

    

     It is a pleasure to start another school year, and I am looking forward to working with your child.  This is my sixth year teaching 5th grade, and my first year teaching 4th and 5th grade Reading and Social Studies. I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and my Master's degree in Teaching and Learning through the University of St. Francis.  

     

     I believe that by providing  an environment where children feel valued and respected, they will have the confidence they need to explore new challenges and get the most out of their fifth grade experience. By having a common goal of  wanting what's best for your child, I am confident that by working together we can ensure that  your child will have a successful school year.
