Classroom Rules and Expectations

Our school has three rules:
  1. Respect
  2. Responsibility
  3. Best Effort
Our school uses a district wide behavior program. Positive Behavior Supports (PBS) uses a matrix of expectations that are uniform across all grade levels. PBS addresses discipline and behavior in a way that is both positive and proactive.

In our classroom, we incorporate PBS through ClassDojo.  Students will earn positive Dojo points when following classroom expectations.  Students can also earn negative Dojo points when not following expectations.  Students will use Dojo points to earn “Sokolowski Class Dollars” that can be used to buy some fun things at our classroom store. It is my goal that students learn hard work and cooperation can lead to positive rewards.
